Jim is an aspiring actor who has moved from Atlanta to New York City in pursuit of his dreams. But naive actors like him are a dime a dozen in New York City and the doors to the brutal, cutthroat, New York acting world keep slamming shut in his face. None of what worked for him down south seems to work for him in the big city. On the gritty streets of New York, Jim learns a valuable lesson about what it takes to be an actor, and his small-town kindness opens door for him and his future.
